Richard is survived by his children, Richard Lewis Jr., Todd Lewis, Susan Lewis, Shannon Lewis and Andrew Lewis and his loving grandchildren, Lesley, Talan, Cree, Gabriel and Jackson. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet.
Richard was born and raised in Richmond, VA. He served in the Marines during the Korean War. Richard was a loving father who put the needs of his children first. He took great pride in all of his children. One of his proudest personal accomplishments was founding his concrete company “Mr. Concrete”. He spent his retirement following politics, becoming a weather expert and reviewing movies.

Funeral services for Richard will be held at Aquia Episcopal Church in Stafford, VA on March 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Mary Washington Hospital Foundation or the Stafford County SPCA.
