Rita Mae Austin

Rita Mae Austin, 69 of Stafford passed away on January 1, 2017 at Mary Washington Hospital. Rita was an honest, hardworking, selfless woman who always stood up for what was right. She led her children and grandchildren by example. She valued family gatherings and time with her loved ones. She was a dependable and honored neighbor and friend to many. She is survived by her children Kevin (Kelli), Karen (Gary), Sheri (Ricky), and Shawn (Brie); 9 grandchildren Crystal, Kevin Jr, Nicole (Cody), Christopher, Jessica, Ricky Jr, David, Michael and Cathlynn; 8 great-grandchildren; and siblings Peggy, Alice, Leona and Harry.
