Roberta Judith Burns

Roberta Judith Burns, age 81, of Stafford, VA passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at her residence. She was born on September 15, 1940 in Hancock County, Indiana the daughter of Lola Korte Knoll and Francis Knoll. Her husband, Charles Daniel Burns and her brother Wayne Knoll preceded her in death. Survivors include her four sons, Charles Daniel Burns, Jr of Stafford, VA, Michael Thomas Burns and wife Malissa of Stafford, VA, Sean Patrick Burns of Fishersville, VA, Christopher Wayne Burns of Fredericksburg, VA; one sister, Mari Deluka of MI; six grandchildren Michelle Burns, Michael Burns, Samantha Burns, Buddy Burns, Rebecca Burns and Jacob Burns and 1 great grandchild Jackson Bond. Roberta loved her family and was an extremely generous person who donated to many charities. She was dedicated Catholic who said her rosary daily and in her earlier days she was in the Church choir with her husband where they sang a wonderful rendition of Amazing Grace. She was a caring mother and grandmother and enjoyed watching over many other children in her lifetime. A Mass will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 18825 Fuller Heights Rd, Triangle, VA. Interment will be 12:30pm Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Quantico National Cemetery.
