To be in the presence of ‘Grace’ had a calming influence on everyone. You immediately knew she was capable and caring. As a young military wife, she learned self-reliance and the abilities she brought from growing up on a farm stood her in great stead. She raised four children with an abundance of love.
She was an active member of Ramoth Baptist Church and one of the most dependable people to go to if any job needed to be done. She loved her church family. She never bypassed a hard job, she just did it.
As a caregiver and companion, she touched so many lives that her ‘family’ was constantly growing.
She was smart and had a ready sense of humor. Her passing will leave an ache in the hearts of us all.
The family would like to note a special love of our dear and devoted friend, Marie Wentworth. Without her, we would all be lost.
The family will receive friends on Monday October 12, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service Stafford chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 13 at 11 AM at Ramoth Baptist Church interment will follow at Ramoth Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to the Lottie Moon Offering, Ramoth Baptist Church, Stafford, Virginia.
