Ruth Mae Blevins

She was born on May 10, 1926 in Brentsville, VA the daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Susie Ellen (Cockrell) Best. She was a homemaker raising her eight kids. She love watching Soap Operas and listening to Gospel Music. She attended the Dale City Baptist Church up until the Pandemic hit.

Her husband of 60 years, Carl Edward Blevins preceded her in death.

Survivors include her three sons, Carl E. Blevins II of Woodbridge, VA, Michael L. Blevins of Stafford, VA Glen A. Blevins and wife Tammy of Hartwood, VA; five daughters, Judy A. Beavers of Partlow, VA, Kathy M. Ward of Hurt, VA, Carol S. Blevins of Lake Ridge, VA, Gale D. Knowles of Stafford, VA, Robin R. Morrison of Stafford, VA; one sister, Vera Gorham of Springfield, VA; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; her beloved dog, Buddy Lee.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554. An interment will follow Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Stafford Memorial Park, 154 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, Virginia.
