Ryan received his education in the Prince William County School system. Ryan was employed at R.J.P Contracting as a commercial driver in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Ryan was a devoted father, family member, loyal friend, and lifelong sport enthusiast. He brought energy, excitement, and joy to every game, whether in the stand, on the field, or cheering at a football or basketball game. He loved spending time with his Uncle Mark at the racetrack with the Johnson’s Racing Team. Even though Ryan was a sports lover, his number one pastime was being a dad and spending time at his Aunt Boo’s house with his cousins and friends, and oh yeah, at his Uncle Mike Thomas’!
Ryan was a very loving and caring person who always thought of others before thinking about himself. He showed love to everyone, everywhere he went. He loved his family like no other. He has definitely left a very unforgettable impression here on Earth.
Ryan is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Hawkins, and his sister, Ikea Lena Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Patricia Johnson (Frank); two sons: Jamin Washington (Florida) and Nayr Johnson (Maryland); two brothers: Eric Hawkins and Jeremy Hawkins; his maternal grandparents: Isaac Johnson, Sr., and Theresa Carter; nine aunts: Beatrice Carter, Venita Jacklyn, Karla Carter (Phil), Sarita Carter, Vivian Johnson, Regina (Huck) Johnson (Mark) (a loving and devoted aunt, who was like a second mom), Tara Williams (Vernon), Sylvia Bell, Nikki Carter; and one uncle: Isaac Johnson, Jr.; his god mother: Tortica Anderson; and an endless host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his best friend: Sean Cosgrove.
