He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn with whom he shared an adventurous 50 years of marriage; two grandsons, Nicholas and Matthew and one great granddaughter, Katelynn. He is preceded in death by a son, Anthony J. Pike.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 26th, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford from 6.00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at the Marine Memorial Chapel on Quantico Marine Corps Base on Thursday, December 27th at 12:30 p.m. (A valid driving license will be required at the Gate to enter the base if you do not have a Military i.d. and inform the Military Police you are attending a funeral). Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Quantico National Cemetery. Immediately following the Interment a reception will follow at the Pike’s Residence in Stafford.
In lieu of flowers if you would like to send a check made payable to Marilyn Pike and send to her so a commemorative plaque/brick can be purchased from the National Museum of the Marine Corps this would be greatly appreciated.
