Tabatha Atkins

Tabatha Ann Atkins, 52 years of age, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, under the short care of hospice at Fredericksburg Heath and Rehab in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was born in Manassas, Virginia on April 9, 1974. She attended high school at North Stafford High School in Stafford, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Boyd Bibb Sr.; sister, Michelle Danielle Bibb; brother, Michael Boyd Bibb Jr.; mother, Linda White; stepfather, Harless White Sr.; grandfather, John Lewis Bibb, Sr. and grandmother, Alice Ann (Harvey) Bibb.

She is survived by her stepmother, Dorothea Bibb; four surviving siblings, Jimmy, Harless Jr., Brittney and Katrina; a number of nieces and nephews; her children, Austyn Lee Atkins and Latasha Cheyann Kozikowski (Bibb); one biological grandchild and several bonus grandchildren.

Tabatha, or Tammi as we all called her, lived for the celebration. She treasured opportunities to gather with friends and family. Throughout her life she showed kindness and compassion to others. She was well educated, deeply loved and brought joy and warmth to so many of the lives around her. She started her nursing interests at North Stafford High School and afterwards, completed an Associate’s nursing program at Germanna Community College, as well as obtained her CNA. She gained experience working at various nursing facilities and was well loved by the patients. She was a wonderful caretaker, providing home health care to multiple family members and extended family through the years. She loved to make sure people were taken care of. She sought to understand people and the patients she cared for were so very grateful and lucky to have her.

She was primarily raised by her grandmother in Stafford, Virginia. She loved her grandma, and her grandma deeply loved her. Luckily, they lived down the street from her dad and siblings growing up. Tammi loved to have her little sisters come over when they were younger and have dance parties, play Barbie’s and more. She adored being a caretaker, sister and mom the most.

She had her first child, Austyn, in 1997 and loved being a mother. In 2006, she had her daughter, Latasha, and her life was complete. She loved having a good time, going to the lake, and watching wrestling. She was proud of her children and their accomplishments. She spent most of her adult years living with her grandmother, both raising her children and taking care of her grandmother as she faced chronic health issues.

Tammi had a radiant smile and always found the positive in any situation. Her vibrant spirit and generous heart will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
