Mrs. Dotson was born in Alexandria, VA on February 4, 1938 to Edward and Eva Griffin.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dotson.
She is survived by two sons; Greg Bailey and Wayne Bailey and his Fiancee’ Beth Touhey, one grandson, Justin Lee Bailey, a brother Floyd Griffin (Madeline) an uncle and aunt, Eugene and Frances Maddox and three cousins who also were long time care takers; Darlene Beverly, Pamela Loving and Sherry Pearson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday August 25, 2016 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service Stafford Chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd. from 10am to service time where a funeral service will be held at 11am. Interment will follow at Stafford Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family asks the expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to either the Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
