Thomas James Shelton

Thomas James Shelton, age 72, of Stafford, Virginia passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Mary Washington Hospital. Thomas was born in Washington D.C on June 30, 1950 to Betty Shelton and James Shelton. He loved bike week but his favorite thing to do was ride his motorcycle to Washington D.C to honor the veterans. He also loved watching NASCAR and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt. Thomas is survived by his daughter Christina Crider; his mother Betty Shelton; his brother Richard Shelton "Ricky"; his grandchild Natalee Crider. Thomas was preceded in death by his father James Shelton. A graveside service for Thomas will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, Virginia 22172. Thomas will be laid to rest in Quantico National Cemetery right after the graveside service. A Celebration of Life Memorial for Thomas will be held on October 18, 2022 at 5 PM at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 200 Onville Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554.
