So difficult to narrow down just one memory. Toby was one in a million. He definitely did life his way. An infectious laugh, a strong love for animals, a taste for adventure, and a heart of gold. He will be missed by many. Thank you for welcoming me into your family. I have such great memories of the Jones Clan. 


Toby loved his boys very much. He always spoke proudly of them. I have many fond memories of playing pool, bowling, fishing, and golfing with Toby.
About twenty years ago Derek took me on what he called redneck date day. He drove me down to Toby’s house and we went four wheeling and skeet shooting. Then, we drove out to West Virginia with Toby so we could “bet on the ponies.” We didn’t do very well at that. Before heading back, we tried our luck at the slot machines and right as we were walking out, Toby yelled, “I’m not leaving with money in my pocket!” He stuck his last twenty-dollar bill in a slot machine and won $5,000! That year was one of my favorite Christmases. He wanted to give Derek cash for Christmas, but he liked to do it in creative ways. With the help of Terri and Joe, Toby very carefully opened a bag of walnuts. He cracked open each one and took the nut out. Then, he folded up money to put inside each walnut shell and hot glued them back together. Finally, he used an as seen on TV product to reseal the bag to look like it was brand new. Another one of my favorites was when he hid two Easter eggs filled with cash in the bottom of a bucket of concrete, which Derek had to sledgehammer his way to the center of to get the money.
Toby couldn’t wait to become a grandpa. We went to a Beatles tribute concert with Toby when we were first dating. Derek bought me a t-shirt while we were there. When Toby was dropping me off afterwards, he stole the t-shirt from my hand as I was getting out of the car and yelled out, “You’re not getting this back until you give me a grandson!” You can imagine how excited he was to get Cameron when Chris and Amanda got married! He was so thrilled to be able to dote on him! He always wanted to make sure he got Ethan just what he wanted. He loved spoiling his grandsons. Each Easter, he would make an Easter egg hunt for Johnny and Josh. The two of them would look all over to find their eggs with little surprises inside each one.


Toby you will most definitely be miss by many. You always had a sweet personality, you would give your shirt, if someone needed it. You were always there to lend a hand. With your crazy smile, I will miss you my friend. Thanks for making my life a little happier, knowing you. Wished I had spent more time with you. RIP

You will certainly will be missed all around .. Your contagious laughs and just being You !!! I’m sure Ma & Paw Jones  & Tammy have welcomed you with open arms ready to rock heaven !!! Love ya buddy!!! Fly high Toby !!!

I am so very sorry to hear of Toby's passing.  He was such a good-hearted person who would listen to anyone, anytime.  I remember him always being in a good mood and ready to share a laugh.  My condolences to his family and circle of 
friends.

Toby you were truly my best friend. We have laughed together and cried together ❤. 
Your laugh is so infectious it makes everyone laugh. I will miss our talks are vacations. I will miss our trips to the log cabin . Most of all I will miss being able to come to your house at any time of the day or night and you always truly listen. Until we meet again my friend Godspeed

Toby,you gave me the most precious gift of my life, our children. I love you, even when I didn't like you very much. Thank you for our time together good and bad, for an amazing family that came with being with you. RIP, You will be missed 😪

I’ll always remember the good times with Uncle Toby. Every summer until I was 18 me and Aaron would always chill with our Cousins Chris, Damien, and Brandon and of course the Infamous Uncle Toby. I’ll never forget his devil steak or tolerance for hot food. This man had an iron stomach! Me and Aaron would practically scream for milk and bread as our mouths were literally on fire and Uncle Toby would say “That ain’t hot - Ha ha haaaaa”. His laugh was infectious and could be heard from a thousand miles away. He was truly a family man that would go above and beyond for any of us. Heart of gold by all means. 
Uncle Toby will always be remembered as an awesome, caring, fun-loving person and I’m truly honored to have been his nephew. I know he’s up in heaven having a blast with mom, grandma, and grandpa! Rest In Peace Uncle Toby.
