Violeta Legara Luebke

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dennis Luebke; her son, Chester Luebke; her daughter, Jessica Mann; her two sisters, Lolita Buxton and Milagros Legara; and her four grandchildren, Seth, Caelyn, Marissa, and Jacob.

Violeta was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Luebke.

She was born and raised in the Philippines. She was the daughter of a fisherman who struggled financially to provide for his family. Violeta would often go with her father on his day fishing trips and he called her his lucky helper. It seemed as when she went they caught enough fish to not only sell, but to also feed their family.

Violeta enjoyed playing BINGO and had many friends. She also enjoyed being close to the water, cooking and taking spontaneous day trips with her husband. But she loved nothing more than being a military wife, a Mom and a Grandma. Her family was her everything!

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel from 6-8:00 pm. Her graveside service will be held in the National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10:00 am.
