Jan, I just today learned of Wade's passing and I am deeply saddened by the news. Wade was one of the nicest people I have ever known and I so enjoyed the years we worked together for Peebles. It was always a great day when our paths crossed after he left Peebles. His positive attitude, his respect and consideration of others, and his love of family is so rare in this world and all who knew him thought so very highly of him. My life was certainly enriched by both you and Wade. I am so sorry for your loss. It is no doubt God needed another angel and called Wade home. If there is ever anything I can do to help you and your children, please let me know.

Jan, Kyle and Lindsey, Wade was such a kind hearted man who always had a nice word to say to everyone he knew and even those he just met.  We loved his contagious positive attitude and we are all better people for having known him.  He will so be missed all.  Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

That was the most amazing and beautiful memorial service I have ever attended...what a fitting tribute to Wade!  The entire service was remarkable (and gosh, the music was so perfect), but the words spoken by each of you were so moving and poignant.  Looking down upon you, Wade must have been so proud and have felt so very much loved and cherished.  Again, it was such a gift to have known him, and to know all of you.

Aunt Jan, Kyle and Lindsey I am so sorry about uncle wade he was a role model for me and a lot of other people. It is so hard to put into to words how much I loved him and how everyone else did also. I will miss him so much but I know he is in a great place and when we all meet with him we will have big party up in heaven listening to Pink Floyd by the ocean. I love you all so much and I am here if any of you need me.

So many wonderful memories, I am not sure where to start. You guys were at everything since the first day of Brendan's church life, and school life. The reliable family that believes it takes a village. From snow storms, to first dances, field trips, concerts, rubber band balls of art, pool parties, hot tub parties, pick ups, drop offs, tadpoles, Wade was there for my family, and for the village. You guys represented the kind of people we aspire to be. We are in awe by the love you both shared with us and the community, and we are blessed and thankful to have known such a great person. Jan, I am so very sad and sorry to learn of Wade's passing.  It is hard to imagine what in this world could create a day where you didn't smile.  I expect that Wade absolutely LOVED every single smile that he brought to you and your children.  He will continue bringing them, every time you remember your time on earth together. As you go through a most difficult time please accept my deepest sympathy.

You know I only met Wade three or four times but it only took that small amount of time to get to know him and consider him a true friend.

He had a charisma that was infectious. The type of person who once you met you wanted to see and interact with again. He possessed a strength of character that was evident to all.

In my limited time with him I saw how he so enjoyed life whether riding a bike, hitting a tennis ball or having a drink around the pool.

He has left you a legacy of memories to cherish and a lasting love that I am confident will stand the test of time throughout your lives.

Remember his most important legacy is the three of you.

Uncle wade was someone I always admired for keeping a positive attitude no matter what was thrown his way. He had impacted so many people's lives so significantly. Jan, Kyle and Lindsey, we are so sorry for your loss.  Wade was such a wonderful person.  We had so much fun together going all the way back to cub scouts.  Even sitting there selling pumpkins for the youth group.  I used to always run into him at Food Lion and we always had really nice conversations. Jan, Kyle, Lindsey..there are no words I can say to ease your sorrow.  I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with all of you at this time.  I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Wade's passing today and was unaware that Wade had been ill having moved to Texas last year.  I feel very blessed to have met Wade during my life.  He was always a pleasure to spend time with and his smile was infectious.  Over the past 20 years I watched him be a devoted husband, father and a strong Christian.  He loved his family dearly and was so proud and supportive of all of you.  You have my deepest sympathy and I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
