Walter Joseph Giancola

Walter was born on January 13, 1921, in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Esther Truco Giancola.

Walter was a U S Navy veteran serving during WWII. Eventually he settled in Warren, Ohio area where he spent most of his life. After retiring he lived in Columbus, Ohio however he spent his last ten years in Stafford, Va. with his son John’s family.

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by loving wife of 55 years, Dora Irene Giancola and his daughter, Gladys Bayley.

He is survived by two sons, John Giancola and wife Judy of Stafford and Robert Giancola and wife Beverly of Kinsman, Ohio and one brother, Dante Giancola of Youngstown, Ohio. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Services are private and are being handled by Mullins and Thompson Funeral Home Stafford Chapel.
