He was born on July 1, 1944, in Romey, WV.
Walter had a deep love for watching wrestling, which brought him joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine Staub (Cathy) of Spotsylvania, VA, and his brother, John Staub (Moe) of Winchester, VA.
Walter also leaves behind his two children, daughter Tammy Wesley of Spotsylvania, VA, and son Walter Staub Jr. of Hedgesville, WV.
He was a loving father-in-law to Jack Ross Wesley Jr. of Spotsylvania Va and future daughter-in-law, Jasmine Schultz of Hedgesville, WV.
Walter's three grandchildren, John James Staub, Annabelle Marie Wesley, and Jack Ross Wesley III, held a special place in his heart.
He is also survived by three sisters.
