Bill was mechanically inclined early in life. It was not unusual to see him repairing bicycles, mini bikes, and anything with an engine as a child. This gift followed him through life and he became a very good mechanic and owned his own heavy truck repair business. He was able to customize and fabricate mechanical parts which operated better than factory design. He was always ready to lend a hand to whoever asked and displayed a servant’s heart to all who knew him.
He is survived by his former wife and friend to the end, R. Diane Huffman, his son, Kurry Roberts and two step-sons, David Potter and Ethan Althar; his granddaughter, Aria Nicole Roberts; his brothers, Paul Jr. and Keith Gordon (Karen), sister-in-law Michelle Doss (Ern) and nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Paul and Shirley Gordon, and a brother, Adam Gordon.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
