Agnes B. Toth

Agnes B. (Mulreed) Toth, 88 of Stamford, beloved wife of the late John T. Toth passed away March 14, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Agnes was born in Stamford on January 23, 1928 to the late James N. and Frances (Murphy) Mulreed.

Agnes a founding member of both St. Leo Parish and Roxbury Swim Club, was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Society of Mayflower Descendants.

Agnes is survived by her children: John Reed Toth of Stamford, Alison (Toth) Kelly and husband Thomas of Kennesaw, GA, Patricia (Toth) McDermott and husband Norman of Stamford and Susan (Toth) McGoldrick and husband Christopher of Darien. She is survived by grandchildren Kathleen Toth of Stamford, Brian Kelly and wife Heidi of Colchester, VT, Cara Kelly of Snellville, GA, Andrew Toth of Norwalk, Colleen McDermott of Denver, Co, Kevin Kelly of Reston, VA, Meghan McDermott of Stamford and Jackson McGoldrick of Darien. Also step grand daughter Melissa Carter of Milford, and great step daughter Taylor Hermann of Norwalk.

Agnes is also survived by her sister Mary Elizabeth (Mulreed) French and late husband James of Stamford and brother Francis Mulreed and late wife Marion. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents and husband, Agnes was predeceased by her son Michael Toth, brother James Mulreed and wife Dorothy.

A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM at St. Leo Church in Stamford Friday March 18, 2016, Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Stamford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carl and Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center, 30 Shelburne Rd. Stamford, CT 06902
