Alberta "Berdie" Fox

Alberta “Berdie”Fox passed away July 16, 2011 at the age of 61 after a year long battle with cancer. Alberta was a graduate of Stamford High School, Southern Connecticut State College and enjoyed many years of teaching at the Italian Center Nursery School. Her biggest passion was her family. She enjoyed spending many hours attending and supporting her children’s sporting activities. Berdie enjoyed spending her summers in Cape Cod with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Roger J. Fox. One son, Bryan and his wife Kathy and their two children Kaitlyn & Mattingly. Two daughters, Kelly & Katie Fox all of Stamford. Berdie is also survived by her mother Irene Dzidolik and one sister Claire Prosowski. Calling hours will be held today, Monday July 18, 2011 from 4-7 Pm at The Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer St Stamford, CT. At the family’s request, burial arrangements will be held privately.
