Ann M. Borkowski

Ann M. Borkowski (née Rainone), age 96, of Surfside Beach, SC, formally of Stamford and Darien, passed away on February 22, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born on April 7, 1921 in New Canaan to the late Michael and Maria Rainone. Her husband, William Borkowski , daughter, Nancy Borkowski, and brother, Carl Rainone, predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Michael Borkowski, of Stamford, a grandson, Matthew Borkowski, of Brooklyn, New York, a brother, Joseph Rainone, and a sister, Catherine Gilleskie, both of Stamford. Calling hours will be on Sunday, February 25, at the Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford from 3 p.m. to 7 p. m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 26, at 10:00 a.m. at the Basilica of St. John the Evangelist, 279 Atlantic Street, Stamford, with interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s name to the Basilica of St. John the Evangelist, 279 Atlantic Street, Stamford, CT 06901.

My condolences on the loss of your Mom.She was as special lady.
Your parents were always so kind to me. I remember the feast your mom made for your high school graduation. We all had a great time! I still have the Benrus watch your Dad ( My godfather) gave me for graduation.
