Anthony Abella, 38, a resident of Stamford CT passed away on Tuesday, April 14th, 2015. He died of a heart attack while working in another state. He was with friends who tried to revive him but it was said nothing could have been done. His return flight was less than 48 hours and from what his remaining days were said to be, magnanimous days; he was having such a great time. Tony was a beloved soul who’s left his mark and an ever lasting impression to all he met and worked with. He leaves behind his mother Elba Abella, his god brother and his girlfriend. To die this young of a heart attack is a tragedy and his life was never easy, filled with challenges and tribulation however he always overcame them with his wit and personality but with great sadness it’s not going to happen this time around. (1976 out of 1977 times isn’t bad Tony :). He will be sorely missed and I won’t fail him here on out. “Shaka, when the walls fell” won’t be happening here brother. All good things come to an end, it’s time to put an end to your trek through the stars and let’s make sure history never forgets the name Anthony Abella. With much Love and Respect your Mother and family! His family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 5pm to 9 pm at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St. Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Benedict Our Lady of Montserrat, 1 St. Benedict Circle, Stamford.
