Arnold Souffrant

Arnold Souffrant , “Boss Arnold “, farmer, carpenter, passed away at Stamford Hospital on October 6th 2016 at 8:45 am. Arnold was 89 years old. He was born and raised at Marchand Dessalines, (Haiti ) by Myrthil . P. and Cecile Souffrant. Arnold was very well known and respected in the Haitian Community of Stamford CT where he resided since April 1981 He worked at the Stamford Marriott Hotel until he retired.

He was predeceased by his brothers Charite ,Arnoux, and Cetoute, his sisters Ticia, Mrs Gelin, Mme Lamothe, and his oldest beloved son Reynold Souffrant. Arnold is survived by his separated wife Lucila,(CT) his brother Atemsi.(NJ) His 7 daughters are Marie Denese Charitable S. (NY), Carline S. (CT), Sultanie S. (MA), Violette S. (FL), Claire.C S. (CT), Anotte S.,(CT) and Amoulifie Souffrant (CT). His 7 sons are Bertony Aressius S. (NY), Jean D. S (CT), Max Nicolas S. (NY), Vernond S. (CT), Nemours S. (MA), Eric S. (CT), and Arnoux Souffrant (CT).His grandchildren Emmanuel D., Nicholson, Vladimir Wendy, Valery Rolf, Ralph Sebastien, Fabrice Rudolf, Gino, Maxen, Veena, Karl, Jean Paul Nixon, Kevin, Kaleb, Fednie, Christopher, Schmivens, Schmiley, Viole , Schlivens, Chenille, Robins, Sandra,Yacki, Manouchka, Emmanuel A., Erica, and Molinsky Souffrant. His nephews , and nieces Sylvienne, Sydonie Fritznel, Lunique, Maude, Guerda, Francky, Wilka, and Wilson Souffrant. His cousins Philippe and Normil. His in-laws are Ricot, Florette, Evelyne, Euphemie, and Evens.

Family members, friends and fellow worshipers (Eglise Christ Sanctifie) could pay him respect at Leo.P Gallagher & Son Funeral Home at 2900 Summer ST Stamford CT 06905 on Friday October 21th at 6 – 9 Pm.The funeral service will be held at Union Baptist Church 805 New Field Ave Stamford CT 06905 at 9 – 11:30 Am on Saturday, October 22nd. Final resting place will be at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery Stamford CT.
