

(Affectionately known as Veve) was born May 11, 1944 in Porter’s Mountain in Westmoreland, Jamaica to Martha Madourie and Zetheniah Madourie. She was adapted at an early age by her Aunt Tiny and Uncle Isaac Sinclair. She attended Porter’s Mountain Elementary School and later graduated from North Western Academy in Montego Bay, St James. She was employed by the Ministry of Agriculture as an Accountant. A great runner, she rarely lost a race. She was also an excellent dress maker and culinary Artist (wedding cakes & pastries). Arona loved music and outdoors. Most importantly she loved the Lord. She was baptized in the New Testament Church of God and was a member of the Church of God Of Prophecy, Stamford. She was married to Kenneth G. Panton and the union produced two children, Ian Kenneth G. Panton and Melissa A. Panton. She dedicated herself to raising her two children and loved them very much. She was predeceased by Issac Sinclair, Tiny Sinclair, her daughter Melissa A. Panton, her sister Ivet Sinclair-Hyatt, and brothers Stanley Madourie and Millord Madourie
She leaves to cherish her legacy and many memories her son Ian Kenneth G. Panton, 5 sisters Inez Dawes (Canada), Claudine Bowen (Jamaica), Loris Denton (Canada), Luna Cardoza, (Georgia) and Elvita Hilton (Jamaica), 7 nieces, 8 nephews and a host of family and friends.
