

Born in Peru, he was the son of Eladio Magan and Julia Tamariz. He was self-employed. He owned several restaurants throughout his lifespan. The proud owner of Hubba’s in Portchester, NY. A restaurant establishment known to many locals for its famous chili. A caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was passionate about reading and keeping informed about world events. His other interests included soccer and basketball.
He was a devoted catholic and active church member of his community. Carlos is survived by Vilma Magan, his devoted wife of fifty-four years, his loving daughter Karin Magan-Slough (Scott), and grandchildren Sammy, Mia and Ray. He is also survived by Edith, Irma, Willie, Leo, Lucho, and Magda. In addition to his parents Carlos is predeceased by Eduardo and Nick.
Calling hours for Carlos will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St, Stamford, CT. A mass of Christian burial will occur Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary of Stamford Parish, 566 Elm St, Stamford, CT. Interment will immediately follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, 230 Oaklawn Ave, Stamford, CT.
