Carmen Montero Gonzalez

Carmen Montero Gonzalez was a proud resident of Stamford, CT. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Carmen was born on June 30, 1942 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Antonia Gonzalez and Dionisio Montero. She is one of four children, Aida Montero (Sister), Carmelo Montero (Brother), and the late Antonio Gonzalez (Brother). Carmen devoted years of service to Wright Tech School. She raised two children, Jarleam Gonzalez and Edgard Diaz, as well as three grandchildren, Julio Gonzalez, Jr., Gabriel Gonzalez and Joshua Gonzalez. Celebrating her life are grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. “She was a mother to all and loved all people. She will live in our hearts and memories forever”. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Carmen also had a love and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and the Church. Carmen’s memories will be cherished and unforgotten. Services will be private for Carmen Montero Gonzalez.

U sure were special. I knew you forever. We married, divorced, raised our children as single moms and you never wavered on your journey. It is now time to rest. We will meet again in Paradise. RIP.

Carmen was a very sweet lady. Always had a smile on her face. I met Carmen when she would come from Florida to care for her grandchildren. After some years she lived back here in Stamford and my nicest me memories of Carmen were when she would sit on her daughters front porch ; next door to us and she’d enjoy watching people go by, and talking to us neighbors. Always caring and smiling.
I also remember Carmen and her grandson Gabriel going to Church together. Many , many nice memories.
Rest In Peace Carmen. You will be missed.
