Charles V Austin Jr.

Charles attended of Xaverian H.S. and Saint Francis College in Brooklyn. During his banking career he worked at Irving Trust Company, The Bank of New York, and most recently at BNY Mellon. His career spanned over 30 years in financial services and technology.

He is survived by his parents Charles and Eileen Austin of Plymouth, Massachusetts. He also leaves his sister Eileen Perrone, husband David, nieces Olivia and Emily, his sister Rose Austin, husband James Bullock and nephews Austin and Owen. He was predeceased by his brother Matthew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 26th at 10 a.m. at The Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist, in Stamford, CT. His family will receive friends on Sunday, August 25th from 4 to 6 p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home at 2900 Summer Street in Stamford.
