Cheryl D. Becker

Cheryl Denise Becker, beloved wife, mother and daughter, born May 11, 1965 in Tachikawa AB, Japan, passed peacefully at the Greenwich Hospital on April 12, 2010 with her family present.

She was a resident of Stamford, CT a graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, and was the Business Manager at Eagle Hill School in Greenwich, CT.

She was truly an inspiration to many, most never knew she had been battling Breast Cancer for almost 18 years as she always lived life to the fullest. It was always about the people around her and never herself. She was an incredible wife, mother, daughter and friend as she made it truly a point to ensure all were enjoying life and happy due to her remarkable selfless nature. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten!

She is survived by Husband, Larry O. Becker; Son, Ryan Hawke Becker; Mother, Carol Bandy of Rome NY; Father, Thomas R Hawke of Valparaiso IN; Stepmother Sally Hawke of Valparaiso IN; Sister Cindy Lacey of Clifton Park NY; 6 nieces and nephews. .

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 4 until 8pm and a Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 10am both at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home on 2900 Summer Street, Stamford CT 06905
