Christopher Eng

Christopher Eng of Chicago, IL and Stamford, CT passed away unexpectedly. After graduating from the University of Connecticut and earning his CPA, he built his career at KPMG in the audit division, leading his team in supporting their customers.

Chris lived life with a true sense of adventure and a passion to learn, uplift, and create. His travels spanned five continents, and he brought that same curiosity home through hands-on projects like building his own furniture, computers & bicycles. He was an enthusiastic teacher who took pride in mentoring others in his industry.

Above all else, Chris had a great sense of humor, a lively laugh, and an immense heart caring for others. He was happiest spending time with his family and friends especially while exploring bold flavors and sharing great meals together.

He is survived by his loving mother, father, sister, brother-in-law, and niece, alongside a community of friends who became family. Chris will be missed beyond measure but the warmth of his smile and the echo of his laughter will live on in our hearts forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests honoring Christopher by spreading love and respect just as he did.

Funeral will take place on Monday, October 26th at 10:00AM at Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford, CT 06905.
