Claire H Nollman

Claire H. Nollman passed away on 12/24/2022 at the age of 91. A Stamford native, she was the daughter of the late Helen Coughlin and Raymond Nollman. She was educated in Stamford Public Schools and attended Western State College in Danbury.

Miss Nollman was an Executive Secretary for over 40 years - places of employment were: Raytheon Labs in Springdale, Clairol in Stamford, the U. S. Coast Guard Academy in New London and the Financial Accounting Standards Board in Norwalk. She also served 12 years as a Chapter and Connecticut Division Officer in PSI (Professional Secretaries International), traveling extensively throughout the United States and Canada.

Since 1994 Miss Nollman has been a member of Turn of River Presbyterian Church and formerly served in the capacity of Deacon, Secretary, Session member, Choir, and several committees.

She was an avid METS and JETS fan and loved all animals. There will be no calling hours. A Graveyard Service will be at Fairfield Memorial Park on Oaklawn Avenue in Stamford please check back for date and time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Turn of River Presbyterian Church, 49 Turn of River Road, Stamford, Ct. 06905. Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home, Summer Street, is handling the arrangements.
