Courtney James Harry

He was 84. Born December 29, 1926 he was the son of the late Courtney James Harry Sr. and Elsie Bertha Wise Harry.

Courtney worked for Capital Magnetics, Stamford Hospital and finally retiring from Pitney Bowes. Coutney was a loving, hardworking man, always providing for his family. He was soft spoken, quick witted and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all.

Mr. Harry was predeased by his sons Dennis and Douglas and a sister Elsie C. Putzig.

He is survived by his loving wife Doreen, his son Michael, his grandson David S. Harry, wife Liz, granddaughters Tracy Parisi, husband Jay, Cheryl Biagiarelli, 2 great grandsons, a nephew Leonard Putzig and another grandchild expected.

Friends may call Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 2900 Summer St. Stamford, CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at The Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist, 279 Atlantic Street, Stamford, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Basilica of Saint John or the Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence, 100 Shelburne Rd. Stamford, CT 06902.
