David French

David French, age 55, passed away in his home Thursday, April 20th 2017. A resident of Stamford Connecticut, David was born on December 15th 1961 to Mary and James C. French. Predeceased by his father James and his brother Richard, he is survived by his mother Mary Elizabeth “Betty” French (Mulreed), and his brothers Christopher, Timothy and Robert French.

A graduate of Stamford Catholic High School and the University of Connecticut, Dave was employed at numerous companies in his career as a leader in product development and innovation. The holder of several patents, Dave always added value through his tremendous network of contacts and his vision of how things should be. An avid traveler, writer and reader, Dave always had a story about the history of just about any location. In his spare time, Dave devoted himself to his love of old Jaguars and his exploration of our family’s history.

A friend to all and a deeply sensitive and loving person, Dave will be missed by all of us.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, May 3rd at St. Leo Church, 24 Roxbury Road, Stamford Connecticut.
