Donna A. Craig

Donna A. Craig, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away on December 23, 2016, at Stamford Hospital.

Born March 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Donahue Craig. She graduated from St. John’s School and Stamford High School and attended Southern Connecticut College. She worked for GE Capital Corporation for 20 years, having held various financial managerial positions.

Her home, gardening and friends were the focal point of her life, including her devoted dog, “Rosie.”

She is survived by two nieces, two nephews, six grandnieces, four grandnephews, three great-grandnieces and five great grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Roger A. Craig Sr.

Arrangements are being handled by Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 28 between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 28 at 11:00 am at St. Gabriel’s Church, 914 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien, CT. Donations in Donna's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105.
