Dear Stan, Nancy and families, I send Sincere condolences and prayers and love on behalf of myself and my family and my brothers and sister and all our families. Your Mother was a steady source of love, warmth and comfort in our lives and such a strong part of our early years on the block.
I can close my eyes and see her beautiful face and smile. We send you all our love. I heard about her service only yesterday. I rushed over to attend, parked in the first available space, ran to the church and you all had just left. Then, I drove as quickly as I could to the cemetery, saw the tent and wound my way to it as quickly as possible. When k arrived, you all had just left. I called Morg, knelt by the site and we prayed together. I am so sorry to have missed the service and please know that you are all in our hearts. I spoke to CA and Bambi as well and we all send so much love to you both, our Downs Ave/ Whittaker St family. With love, Kelly Ames Smith and family

To the Twardy Family,
I was sorry to hear of Mrs. Twardy's death. She was my 5th grade teacher at St. Mary's. My father died that year and I remember her being very kind and caring to me. I will never forget her.

Dear Dorothy's Family and Friends, It is with extreme sadness that I read of her passing. I had the distinct pleasure of teaching with her at Toquam Elementary School in Stamford so many years ago.
She loved her students and they in turn loved and respected her.
Please accept my deepest sympathy. May she rest in peace.
