

Born in San Jacinto, Peru, she was the daughter of Julia Tamariz Magan and Eladio Magan. She migrated to the United States in 1971. She was employed at Xerox and Macy’s for several years as a dedicated employee. Edith was hardworking and energetic. She was dedicated to her family and always ensured that everyone was cared for. She loved to shop, indulge in fine dining, and was very well traveled.
She will be remembered for helping others, her generosity, hard work, energy, and unconditional love.
She is survived by her sisters Magda Magan, Irma Ruffalo, and Leonor Morcos and her brothers Lucho and Willie Magan. She left behind 12 nieces and nephews: Karin Slough, Patty Dunn, Ronnie Ruffalo and Anthony Ruffalo, Kevin (Nick) Magan, Eduardo (Lalo), Picky (Adalberto), and Raul Morcos, Jessica and Stephanie Moreta, and Gonzalo Magan. She was predeceased by her siblings Eduardo, Nick, and Carlos Magan.
A wake will be held Thursday, September 18th, 2025, from 5-9 PM at Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home (2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT 06905).
A mass to honor her will be held Friday, September 19th, 2025, at 11 AM at Saint Bridget of Ireland Church (278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902).
Following, she will be buried at Fairfield Memorial Park (230 Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, CT 06905).
