Edward served in the U.S. Air force as a Staff Sergeant and Flight Engineer in a B24 Bomber in World War II. He retired from Collin’s Development Corporation in 1976 as a Construction Supervisor.
He has been serving as a Ministerial servant with Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed spending his time teaching people about what the Bible and what it says about God’s Kingdom and what that Kingdom and what that Kingdom will do for mankind. He rested his hope on the Bible’s promise of a resurrection to perfect life on a paradise earth.
Ed always had a joke and was dearly loved by family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife Marion Jean Andersen, married 61 years, and son’s Douglas Andersen of Burnsville Minnesota and Gordon Andersen of Coahoma Texas, five granddaughters, Hailey, Rebecca, Paige, Carolyn and Wendy and one grandson, Eric of Natick, MA.
A memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on Saturday December 18, 2010 at 2PM. Mr. Terrel Kelley will be officiating.
