When I was suffering from a condition that caused me excruciating pain, Dr. Lu cured me and stopped the pain. I could never thank her enough. I am so saddened to learn of her death. My condolences to her family. She was a terrific doctor and a better person.

Words can't express the kind and caring person Dr. Lu truly was. Although she loved her profession, we know she loved helping people more. Being under her care for years she became more than just our doctor, she was our friend. As it became difficult to get on and off the table, Dr. Lu took it upon her self to purchase a new table just to accommodate me so I was comfortable. It's moments like those I will never forget. We can't thank you enough for everything you have done for John and I.  Although it may be good-bye for now, it's not good-bye forever; it's only good-bye until we meet again.

My sincerest condolences to all of Dr. Lu's family. It was always a pleasure visiting her office as a patient. She always brought an upbeat, positive attitude with her that was infectious and motivating. This is such a great loss for so many.

I worked as a RN with Dr Lu for many years,  I was also her patient. I'm so saddened to hear of her death.  Emmy I hope you are with Lauren. Two wonderful doctors that passed too young.

Dr Lu was my mother's Dr. She always spoke so lovingly of her and was very sad to hear of her passing. 

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dr. Lu was more than a doctor to my mom.  She was a friend and confidant.  Dr. Lu gave my mom the gift of living life to the fullest and the hope for the future.  Knowing the impact she had on my mom's life I can only image the impact she had on her family and close friends.  If I could give you a gift it would be what your mom, wife, daughter, friend, etc. gave to my mom.  Hope for a bright future full of life and love. We all miss her and we will always remember her.

My Mom, Phyllis Boscamp, was a patient of Dr. Lu's for several years.  I always looked forward to taking Mom to those appointments because I loved seeing Dr. Lu.  She listened, but she didn't "listen" the way most people do.  She truly listened, sympathized and empathized with not only my Mom but with me as Mom's caretaker.  Her kindness and caring were gifts to both of us.  I will always treasure my memories of her.  I am so sorry for your loss.

My mother was Dr. Lu's patient...Dr. Lu was sweet and kind to her and gave her great relief from her pain.  I was so sorry to learn of her passing.  May she rest in peace.

She gave me hope and confidence, because of her own.  Such a rare person -- a unique blend of caring, humor and sharp intelligence. It was a great privilege to know her, even alittle -- so glad she chose to be a doctor, and share her attitude with all of us!   Her life had great meaning. Doron, Amanda, William, Dr, Peter, Mr. & Mrs. Lu and family:
I was blessed to have been a patient of Dr. Emmy for 10 years.  She really saved my life, chronic pain is debilitating and she taught me how to cope and live with it.  I am so heartbroken, it is a devastating loss for everyone.  

We shared happy and sad times. My brother's passing (drowning) was so devastating to me, 8 months to the day, my dad was taken off life support and 6 weeks later my mother-in-law passed away.  And the very happy times, my children's weddings and the birth of my 4 grandchildren.  Every visit, Emmy would ask "how is Lily Pearl"?, she is now 8.  

Dr. Emmy had her own tradegy and happiness.  She was soooo in love with Doron.  Doron, you were meant to be in her life.  You are there for your beautiful children.  They are blessed to have you.  I was honored when I was invited to your wedding.  It was a great and very happy day.  And I know her birthday is Saturday.  I would bring in a cake and celebrate with her staff.

Emmy, you were one on a million.  No one will ever be able to fill your shoes!  I will remember you forever.

Amanda and William, you are your Mom's treasures. She would often ask if she was being the best Mom she could be. The two of you are the answer; the reflection of the amazing person she was and will always be. She is so proud of you both.

I consider myself incredibly lucky to have known Emmy. Not only was she an amazing mother, wife and doctor but I will remember her most for being a true friend. She was one of my mom's very best friends and I don't know where my family would be without her warmth, passion, care and love for my mom and our entire family. I will be forever grateful to Emmy for being such a trusted friend and for always being there for us, especially for my mom. Our family will forever be there for Emmy's family - especially her truly special and wonderful kids, Amanda and William, not only because we love them but because it's what Emmy would have done for all of us. May she rest in peace.

To the Family of Dr Emmy Lu  i never worked so to speak with Dr Lu but i saw her caring and concern for her patients when i brought a friend in , i met her  and saw her when she came up to 90 Morgan we would say our hellos and goodnights and she would tell me how she went for a run. We talked when she came in on a saturday to treat a patient in need or when she needed some emergency supplies. I was thinking of her deeply at work saying a prayer and something told me to turn around and look out the window and the sky was the most amazing color and in front of me was this big puffy heart cloud with an arrow through it....i got chills and knew it was from you......I know you will be watching over over Your Daughter and your Son and husband   your Dad Mom and

It is really hard to take this news in. My deepest sympathies are extended to Doron, Amanda, William, Emmy's parents and brother and all part of the Emmy community. She was one of my truest, real, and consistent friends! Great memories were made since our childhoods growing up in Rockland County, NY together. Emmy was a dedicated mom, wife, doctor, friend, and much much more. I was glad my letter arrived and was read to her. Her presence in my life and our friendship were important and meant a lot. Lots of love always...

My thoughts go out to all of Emmys family and friends. I have very found memories of growing up with Emmy. I recently found a poem we wrote together in the 6th grade and it reminded me of what a wonderful and special person Emmy was.
