Born in Ridgewood, NY, she was the daughter of Lena and Casper DiPong. She was employed as a legal secretary prior to her retirement.
She was a long-time parishioner at St. John the Baptist parish in Yonkers, NY. She will be remembered for her love of family and kind nature. Esther enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and helping the family.
Esther is survived by her sons, Frank and Robert Handler, their spouses, Susan and Lorie Handler, her grandchildren, Frank, Christine and Robert Handler. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank L. Handler, many relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
