The last of the first generation Andersons are now gone. Your mother and father have all of their children home "now". I hope it is a great reunion! I am very proud of how you battled your illness these past few years. I will miss checking in on you via my daily phone calls and/or visits. You were like a "second father" after our own father died when we were just teenagers always worrying about us. It was an honor to take care of you, as you took care of us. I will truly miss you.

Dear Uncle Gene,
I'am missing you terribly. It still hasn't quite hit me that your gone. I can't believe I won't be
able to pick up the phone to call you or for that matter to
come visit you. I will always
remember your kindness and
your love of sweets. And most
importantly of all your help and
generosity with Andrew. My
brothers and I considered you
a second father. That love will
stay with us for the rest of our
lives. And you will never ever
be forgotten. I will carry you in
my heart always.
Love your niece,
Patti

The last first generation of the Anderson family is gone. Your mother and father have all of their children "home" now. I hope you are all having a great reunion. I am proud of the battle you fought these last few years. I will miss checking in on you via my daily phone calls and visits. You were like a "second father" to all of us after our our father (your brother) died when we were so young. You will truly be missed by me. RIP Uncle Gene.
