

Frances L. Brandner, longtime resident of Stamford, CT, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the age of 96. A graveside service was held for Frances on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Beth El Cemetery, 350 Roxbury Road, Stamford, CT 06902, with Cantor Katie Kaplan presiding.
Born in the Bronx, New York, Frances attended the University of Connecticut. She was a talented and successful real estate broker for many years. She also managed the dental practice office of her beloved husband, Dr. Philip Brandner, who predeceased her.
Frances loved people and made friends easily and quickly wherever she went. She also loved pets (her shih tzu Shane and lhasa apso Heidi, both of which predeceased her). Additionally, she loved astrology, and in later years gave readings and advice on several 900 psychic lines.
Frances was a devoted and loving wife and mother and will be remembered for her strong, vibrant, energetic, generous, compassionate, but also feisty and fun, nature.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Renee Brandner, son-in-law Martin Pavlik, daughter-in-law Sara Kelman, nephews Steven Stolls (wife Joann, children Alex and Adam), Arthur Laichtman (wife Ellen, children Samantha and Camryn), Fred Geffon (wife Ronna, children Amy and Jesse), Randy Geffon, and grandchildren Stacey and Ariel Brandner.
Frances was predeceased by her husband Dr. Philip Brandner, son Geoffrey Brandner, siblings Lucille Stolls (husband Al Stolls) and Stanley Geffon (wife Shirley), niece Judy Laichtman, and nephews Barry and Cliff Geffon.
