Janet was a truly sweet, kind, and generous woman whose warmth touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She lived her life with grace, compassion, and genuine love for her family and friends.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures. An avid reader, she could often be found with a good book in hand or working diligently on a crossword puzzle. She remained active and energetic throughout her life, continuing to play tennis well into her 80s, a testament to her determination and positive spirit. She also loved going out to dinner and especially cherished attending shows with her beloved husband, Bob.
Janet shared a remarkable 63-year marriage with Bob, who passed away last year. Their love and devotion to one another were an inspiration to all who knew them. She missed him dearly every day since his passing and found comfort in the many memories they created together throughout their life together.
Family was the center of Janet's world. She adored her two sons, Ken and Dan, and took immense pride in the men they became. She also shared a special bond with her daughter-in-law, Sita, whom she welcomed into the family and loved dearly for more than twenty years.
Janet was one of four sisters. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob, and her older sister, Renee, whose recent passing was a great loss to her. She is survived by her loving sisters, Elaine and Anita, who remained a cherished part of her life, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
She treasured her conversations with loved ones and never missed an opportunity to stay connected, often spending hours on the phone catching up with family and friends. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine interest in others made everyone feel valued and loved.
Janet's kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and loving heart will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, friendship, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her sons, Ken and Dan; her daughter-in-law, Sita; her sisters, Elaine and Anita; family; friends; and all whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
“Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
May Janet's memory be a blessing.
