Jean E. Coleman of Stamford Ct, formerly of Springfield, IL, passed away at the Stamford Hospital on April 15th surrounded by her loving family. Jean is survived by her beloved daughter Gail (Roy) Smith, sister Ruby Carlucci, Granddaughter Tara (Russ) Nagel, Great Granddaughters Page and Carli Nagel and Grandniece Nicole Martel. Jean was predeceased by her parents Florence and Joseph Pittaro and her niece Jeanne Martel. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and served on the board of “St Leo’s Seniors.” Jean was Manager/Secretary of Edward G. Coleman’s Law Office in Springfield, IL. Jean was also a member of the Nutmeg Theatre Group. Donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Stamford Hospital and/or to Masonicare Hospice Norwalk. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11 AM in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Rd, Stamford. Burial will be held privately.
