To the Allison Family, Our thoughts & Prayers are with you all. If it wasn't for John, my Family & I wouldn't own our house on Staten Island as he approved a company loan for the closing costs & his approval made the difference. This occurred during the time I worked for him at CNP from 1982 through 2003. Every time I walk into the house or & into the backyard I think of John. I am happy to say that I had told him this on many occasions whether it was at the Accounting & Finance Christmas parties or when John celebrated his 50th anniversary with CNP. I will always remember the twinkle in his eyes & the smile on his face.
Best Wishes to all.

Having been a member of Financial Executives International for some 35 years, I have met many outstanding individuals--but none finer than John Allison. It was always a pleasure to spend time with John at a meeting or dinner with John and Peg at a conference. Just a fine person and a true gentlemen. I will miss him.

Proud to call him "friend," we mourn the passing of John Allison, and extend our deepest feelings of sorrow to your entire family.
This great patriot was elegant in appearance, and more so
in soul. He was noble and good, just and true. And because we may never see his likes again, we'll take a final "right good-will draught for auld lang syne" in his honor.
Love,
Mary & Tom Webber

Dear Bonnie, Don, Dick, John and Judy,
There are no words that I can express to tell you how much your dad will be missed and how much he meant to my family! We all moved onto Stillwater Road around 1951 and remained good friends and neighbors throughout the many years. Your dad was very special to us. I can still hear him whistling as he did yard work and always enjoyed our chats when we saw each other in the yards. He will always be remembered fondly as will the wonderful memories he shared with us: Trips to the farm, maple syrup, blueberry pancakes, ballets, etc! Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your dad! He was one of those very special people who will always be part of our lives!!!
