Johny Villard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Johny Villard, who unexpectedly was called home to the Lord on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the age of 44. Born on June 1, 1979 in Port au Prince, Haiti, Johny lived a life marked by kindness, passion, and an unyielding dedication to his loved ones and his pursuits.

Johny Villard was the son of Emmanuel and Eunice Villard. He immigrated to the United States with his family as a child in 1983 from Haiti. Johny resided in Brooklyn, NY for a short time before moving to Stamford, CT in 1985 where he has lived ever since. He graduated from North Carolina Central University. He was employed at HPS Investment Partners and worked as an Associate.

Family was the cornerstone of Johny's world. He is survived by his 7 brothers and sisters: Marie-Helene, Jean, Pierre-Marie, Ronald, Johnson, Nicole and Esther. One of which was his identical twin brother, Johnson. Additionally, he leaves behind 18 nieces and nephews, 7 great-nephews and nieces, sister and brother-in-laws, countless cousins, and myriads of friends. Johny is preceded in death by his father, Emmanuel Villard; his mother, Eunice Villard; and his brothers, Rene Villard and Yvon Villard. Each of whom he cherished deeply. Johny's support, wisdom, and humor brought great joy to his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

His family welcomes all relatives and friends on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St. in Stamford, CT A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, February 9th at Union Baptist Church, 805 Newfield Ave, in Stamford, CT, with viewing scheduled from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and the service starting at 10:00 AM.

Johny's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. As we say goodbye to a remarkable man, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he led and the countless ways he enriched our lives.
