I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Kathy. I met her while I was working at GE. She was such a warm and wonderful lady who was loved by all she came into contact with. One thing about Kathy was she always had a smile and could truly brighten your day.

Wishing her family, loved one's and friends peace and love during this sad time.

Jim, I'm so sorry to hear this incredibly sad news. Kathy was such a bright star to all of us at GE, and I know she will be terribly missed in the non-profit community where she did so much for children. I will treasure the memories of working with Kathy over several years. I hope you and the family are finding strength, and Olga and I are sending prayers and our very best wishes. - William Adler, Delray Beach, Florida

It is impossible not to smile when you think of Kathy, and in my thoughts of her, she is always smiling. What a wonderful human being, so kind, so sweet. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. To her family and Jim, you have my deepest sympathy.

Jim, I am so sorry to hear about Kathy’s passing. We worked together during the terrific years at GE Capital and she we always such a happy, quiet and peace-filled woman. I will always remember her smiling and driving her light blue VW Bug. May God bless her soul and may He give you strength to get through this difficult time.

I still can’t imagine a world without my beautiful Aunt Kathy in it. We had an incredible connection that was built through all our laughs, tears and adventures together in the 38 years I had her in my life. I will forever cherish that! Thank you sweet Aunt Kathy for showing me what it means to love life and family! I am honored to be your nephew. Heaven has no idea how lucky it is to have gained an amazing angel like you! I will forever love you, thank you and carry you with me each and every day of my life!

For sure this Lovely Lady is on Angel's Wings. We were so blessed to have had her in our lives. Always a twinkling smile and a pleasant word to say. To Her Loving Jim and Her Loving family, we are sorry we can't be there with you all during this hard time and to celebrate Kathy's life, which was beyond special. We love you all. To the Hanson family, and to Jim,
My sincerest condolences to you all on your tremendous loss. Kathy and I were close friends for a lot of years, many years ago. We spent countless hours talking, laughing, shopping, sunning, dreaming and just "goofing around"--often as a trio with Annie, and sometimes, just the two of us. Kathy was truly one of a kind, and I loved her dearly. She holds a special place in my life story, and in my heart, and I will cherish the wonderful memories I have of her forever.
Much love,
Cindy Gerstl

I had the pleasure of working with Kathy for many years at GE Treasury. There is not one particulary memory of Kathy that I could limit myself to share as she was an amazing person each and every day. Her laugh, smile and always happy atitude each and every day was Kathy, there will never be anyone like her ever.

May you find comfort and peace in all the wonderful memories that will forever be in our hearts.

With deepest sympathy,
Joann Zaleski

Dear Hanson family and Jim,
I want to write something to you all but I can't right now as my grief takes over. You know I loved her and my life can not be written without my buddy of 60 years. She was so special! I love all of you and wish you all peace and comfort soon. Her memory is a blessing to me, and I sure many, many others.
Much love, Annie

Jim and family,
Our sincere condolences to you. Kathy truly was the “real deal”. Her love was toxic and her positive and caring spirit was felt by all in her presence. When you were with her, she made you feel important. She buried her own struggles to lift you. This was most recently felt when Kat and I were with you & her in late October. Little did we know the situation she was in, as she was only focused on encouraging Kat. This time will always be treasured by both of us.
Jim, I understand your hurt and I feel for your loss. Her love will always shine bright within you as I know, you will keep her candle burning.
Our love and prayers to you.
Cindy and the kids

Kenny and family,
Craig and I want to express our sincere condolences.
As children we knew each other from Salem Lutheran and I have fond memories of attending Sunday school with you and Kathy.
Little did we know all these years later our lives would continue to cross.
You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers asking our dear Lord to give each of you comfort and strength. Kathy will always be close in your heart. ❤️
Moments of tenderness have eternal roads.

Stephen and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. For context, Stephen was a close friend of my brothers and therefore, whole family. I was the younger sister.
One year, in my early teens, I knew my last Halloween of dressing up was upon me, and Kathy offered to help me make my last costume... a cat. She did this for no other reason but to be kind and helpful to a younger neighbor, the little sister of her brother's friend. I am sure as a young adult she had plenty of ways to spend her time, but she made me feel special.
Love to you all.
Loretta Doherty Donovan

There really are no words!! Kathy was just the sweetest, most loving person I've ever known and I'm blessed to call her my sister-in-law !!
