Lawrence Thomas Pankey

Born in Stamford, Connecticut, Lawrence was the beloved son of the late Louise and

William Pankey. He attended Rippowam High School in Stamford, Connecticut.

Lawrence briefly worked in a graphics art design shop.

Lawrence enjoyed music, drawing, sculpting, and anything creative. Lawrence will be remembered by his family and those who knew him for his kindness, sense of humor, generosity, friendliness, and devotion to his family. His memory will remain with those whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his sisters, Lucille Myers, Marie Pankey, and Florence Pankey, his uncle, Samuel A. Livingston, his nephews Victor Myers and Quan McKeithen, and other extended family members.

He is predeceased by his parents, Louise and William Pankey, and his brother, William L. Pankey.

The memorial service will be held at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home at 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, Connecticut 06905 on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 4 pm - 8 pm.

Lawrence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
