The Sands of Despair
by Lewis Feinland
The specters of my mind
To which I’ve been confined
Wert as beacons in vain
From more washed away rain
The sacred flame flickers
As Sabbath candle burns
Phantom shadow snickers
From lost realm as tide turns
Times walked past weary world
Through time and space as hurled
As the grand illusion
Is only confusion
Of Times own eddies shift
From Year Infinity
