

Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the second of five children to Placido and Concetta DeDominici. After attending school for accounting, she took a job at Liberty Music on Madison Avenue in New York City before marrying the love of her life, Anthony Conetta, in 1943. They settled in Stamford, CT in 1952, where her most important role as mother, grandmother and great-grandmother began.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Conetta, her brother Joseph DeDominici, and her sister Stella Ditaranto.
She is survived by her sister Grace Turoff and her husband, Maurice; her sister Antoinette Henenberg; her sisters-in-law Angela Cristiano and Loretta Serafino; as well as her son Donald Conetta and his wife, Leah, their children Daniel, Jennifer and Christina; her daughter, Barbara Conetta; and her son Thomas Conetta and his wife, Patricia, and their children, Kate, Todd and David. She also leaves behind the spouses of her grandchildren, as well as 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Miss Lillie, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, loved music, painting, dancing, playing Scrabble and most of all, laughing. Her best moments came from hosting parties where she was surrounded by family and friends. An avid reader with a thirst for knowledge, she embraced many changes in her lifetime, marveling at each new modernization and how much the world had evolved in a century’s time.
