Lorna Carrington

Lilia "Lorna" Carrington age 67 formerly of Stamford CT passed away on February 5th 2017 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados. Born August 2nd 1949. The daughter of Goulbourne King and the late Lillian King.

Lorna was a cosmetologist /entrepreneur. She worked at local beauty salons in Stamford. Then later became owner and manager of her beauty salon," Lorna's Beauty Salon " for nearly 20 years.

Lorna is survived by her husband, Tyrone Carrington; two sons, Kenmore Carrington and his wife Patricia, and Tye Carrington and his wife Keba; two grandchildren, Kemyia Carrington and Kentrell Carrington; and two adopted grandchildren Jason Thompson and Antoinette Clark; her father Goulbourne King; and six siblings Ruby, Bernard, Linda; Sandra, Margaret, and Cynthia; her godson Cebastian; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Lorna is in our hearts forever and no one can fill her little shoes!

A funeral Service will be held on Friday February 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church ,1271 Washington Blvd. Stamford CT. The Family will

receive guests at the church from 9-11am on Friday. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
