Dear Ginny,

We are so sorry we can't be there with you. We so enjoyed our stay with you both, two years ago, when we were able to spend quiet close time with you and Mal. He and Frank enjoyed working on Mal's I-pad together.

I am thinking back when Mal helped me learn to ride my bike in Wykagyl gardens when I was a little girl.

Mal spent a lot of time and effort when he took the photos at our wedding and put together the album for us.

Mal also took care of our Mom because he lived the closest, and Andy and I couldn't because of distance.

Mal was a very good brother.

Our love to you all on this very sad day.

Ginny,
As a long-time neighbor both at Faymore in New Rochelle and Castlewood in Stamford I read with sorrow of Mal's passing. Losing a long-time spouse is never easy as I learned 25 years ago. My deepest condolences to you and the girls.

Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences to the Bodine family on the passing of Malcolm. May, in time, special memories of times spent with your husband/father/grandpa bring you more smiles than tears; more joy than sorry...for Love is Eternal and never ends and our loved ones are with us always until we meet again in Heaven

Sunday Morning, May 4th, 2014, the man who took me in as a young teen, showed me love and support and who I considered my father, Malcolm W. Bodine, passed away. Although he was not my biological father, he saved my life and raised me as his son. I will be forever grateful for the all the things he taught me, and for the love and support I received from him over the years.

"Not flesh of my flesh, Not bone of my bone,
But still MIRACULOUSLY my own!
Never forget for a single minute:
You didn't grow under my heart, but in it."
R.I.P. Dad. I love you, and you will forever be in my heart.
