

She was a machine operator at Pitney Bowes for many years and was also a certified nurse’s aide. Marie enjoyed reading, cooking, dancing, laughing, and her favorite slot machine. But most of all she loved her family, her three children and many grandchildren. When Marie was not making you laugh, she was watching an episode of Archie Bunker, I Love Lucy, or the Golden Girls
She is survived by her longtime companion Joseph Alfred Cesar, children, Alfred Cesar, Gregory Cesar, Natacha Cesar-Flash and Dany Cesar, 11 grandchildren Anthony Pelletiere, Daniel Cesar, Alan Cesar, Devannie Cesar, Malcolm Cesar, Jordan Lee , Lauren Cesar, Cameron Cesar, Lorenzo Cesar, Layla Cesar, Gabby Flash, 1 great-grandchild Natalie Pelletiere, and 2 sisters Jeanine Bella, and Marie Y. Joseph, and Half Siblings Rony Costin, Mary Costin, Nicole Costin, Marie Claude Costin, and Fed Delva, daughters-in-law Ludy Cesar, Johanne Cesar, son-in-law Jason Flash, as well as countless nieces, nephews and extended family in Haiti and abroad. She was predeceased by her Father Petion Delva, Mother Alice Delva, Siblings Jacqueline Delva, Francois Delva, Claude Delva, Evelyne Delva, Pierre Delva, Joseph Delva.
Visitation for Marie will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St, Stamford, Connecticut 06905. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Basilica of St. John the Evangelist, 279 Atlantic St, Stamford, Connecticut 06902. Interment will occur Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Long Ridge Union Cemetery, 156 Erskine Rd, Stamford, CT 06903.
