Mike was just an outstanding Dad and Husband. He loved Max, Sage, and Lara every day and it showed so much. He was a guy's guy - great to hang out with and always willing to help.

I pray that Max, Sage, and Lara will be comforted by the love of God and the North Stamford Community. Losing Mike is devastating. I'm so sorry this happened.

Michael, you had the most amazing smile and eye contact. When you walked into my office and threw your arms up and exclaimed, “We’re pregnant!” The joy on your face was indescribable. Every time you walked into my office, you were like a breath of fresh air. You always radiated joy. You will be missed.

We will always remember Mike for his big heart and gentle, caring soul. He was Max's biggest fan on and off the field, and for his little girl Sage, he would do anything to make her happy. He was always there to help a friend in need and to boost the spirits of the boys when the game didn't go as well as they'd hoped. Mike and Lara were soulmates who always found a way to make it all work with their busy schedules. They always had each other's back. It was very clear that his family meant everything to Mike and he was always there for them when they needed him. His mom, mother-in-law, sister, nephew and brother. He took care of everybody. He loved his family more than anything. We will miss running into you around town Mike. Rest in peace dear friend.

Mikey was a charm! Best guy ever...always enjoyed his and Lara's company at Little League games over the years! He was so nice to help us get tickets at the Cap! He will surely be missed! Great guy!

Mike was one of the first people we met on Foxwood when we moved here 17 years ago. He was very friendly and was a good friend over the years. One of our first memories was on Halloween when he gave the biggest candy bars to my kids and they never forgot it. He will be deeply missed and I want to offer my condolences to Lara, Max, Sage and the entire family. He was one of the best.
